Skull and Crossbones Drip Pillar in Black Beeswax

Our Skull and Crossbones Black Beeswax Drip Pillars are hand poured in sunny southern California from 100% pure California beeswax, ethically sourced from local apiaries. This candle comes with a natural honey fragrance from the beeswax, but otherwise is fragrance free. Our candles use 100% cotton wicks with no hard metals. These candles are made with black vegetable dye and come with a beeswax skull and crossbones relief and they are dusted with a fine coat of hematite colored mica. The mica we use is sustainably sourced and mined without child labor from mines in the United States and Europe. All of our candles are hand poured in California and crafted with intention for the discerning witch. We are a disposable plastic free company and our shipping materials, including our tape, is plastic free and biodegradable. 

All candles burn at varying rates and there are several factors which can alter burn times such as: size of wick, air flow in the environment, size and shape of candle, presence or absence of fragrance, and oxygen level of the environment.

Burn Times: Beeswax Burns at a rate of 4-5 hours per ounce of wax.

NOTE - If a company is claiming "Organic Beeswax", then it is from a foreign source. Organic beeswax rarely exists in the United States, as there is no way to ensure where a bee collects its pollen. Foreign sellers will falsely list beeswax as "organic" because no testing or proof is required by the US government for imported items labeled "organic" (most imported beeswax is from China). Our wax is produced from local California hives and from trusted apiaries.

Warning: All figural candles will drip wax and run, as there is no containment apparatus, Please make sure to burn the candle in a wax/fireproof container on a heat resistant surface. When burning pillar candles it is important to burn the pillar for about 1 hour per inch of the diameter. For example: Candles with a 3 inch diameter should be burned for three hours at a time to prevent tunneling in the pillar, and this maximizes the use of the wax. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammables. Keep away from children. Trim wick to ¼" before lighting. Do not burn more than 3-4 hours
